Cookie Policy

Overview

This policy explains how SignSafe uses cookies, similar storage, and related technologies. For personal data more broadly, see our Privacy Policy.

Essential cookies (sign-in)

When you sign in, our authentication and database provider sets first-party cookies scoped to this site. Names typically include a project reference (for example, cookies starting with sb-). They are used to keep you logged in and secure your session. These are necessary for the Service to function. Choosing Essential only (or declining optional analytics) does not block these cookies — sign-in, including demo login, works the same. The banner only controls optional analytics, not authentication.

Session cookies (names vary by deployment)Maintain authenticated sessions

Local storage (preferences)

Our cookie banner stores your choice in the browser's localStorage under the key cookie-consent (not an HTTP cookie). The value includes a schema version, timestamp, and whether optional analytics are allowed. If localStorage is blocked, your choice may not persist between visits.

Analytics (optional)

If you opt in, we load analytics from our hosting provider. It is designed to measure page views and related metrics in aggregate without using third-party advertising cookies in the way many legacy analytics products do.

Your choices

Use the cookie banner when you first visit, or Cookie preferences in the site footer (Legal section), to accept all, essential only, or customize analytics. You can also control cookies through your browser settings. If you block all cookies in the browser, session cookies cannot be set and sign-in may not persist — that is separate from the choices in our banner.

Third-party services

We rely on subprocessors for authentication and data storage, hosting, optional analytics, and (when enabled) payment processing. Details of our subprocessors are available on request.
