Information we collect

• Account: email address and authentication data when you create an account (processed by our authentication and database provider).
• Contracts you upload: We process your PDF to extract text, then delete the original file from our file storage once chunks and embeddings are saved. We keep derived text, embeddings, and analysis outputs in our database to provide and display reports—not a copy of the PDF. Do not upload documents containing personal information (such as names, contact details, or identification numbers) unless you have the right to share that information with our subprocessors.
• AI processing: contract content may be sent to our AI analysis provider to generate analysis. Do not upload documents you are not allowed to share with subprocessors.
• Payments (when enabled): if you purchase a paid plan, our payment processor handles payment details; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Technical data: standard server and application logs (e.g. IP address, user agent, timestamps) for security and reliability.

Hosting and analytics

The site is hosted on our hosting provider. If you opt in via our cookie banner, we use our analytics provider to understand traffic in aggregate. Details of our subprocessors are available on request.

How we use information

We use the data above to:

• Provide, secure, and improve SignSafe
• Authenticate users and enforce plan limits

Retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. Original uploaded PDFs are not retained after successful chunking and embedding. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at hello@getsignsafe.com.

We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

International users

Children

SignSafe is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
